Eleven Old Colony Club members and seven spouses attended the British Officers' Club of New England (BOCNE) Burns Night Supper on January 19, 2024.

Cocktail hour was followed by a demonstration by Highland Dance Boston. Following the demonstration, we headed into the dining rooms for the parade of the haggis, address to the haggis, and numerous toasts, speeches and Burns poetry throughout the dinner, as is the Burns tradition.

Following dinner, the Royal Scottish Country Dancers, backed by Tom Pixton on the accordion and Debbie Jarvis on the fiddle, performed a number of dance demonstrations before leading attendees through a series of dances.  The dance floor was packed and everyone had a terrific post-dinner workout!

Royal Scottish Country Dancers deliver their post-dinner performance.  Following this demonstration, dinner attendees participated in Scottish folk dances, under the guidance of the dance instructors!
